Evergreen Ultimate Frisbee Hat Tournament

Thanks for joining us for our third annual Ultimate tournament in Evergreen - just 30 minutes from downtown Denver.

Bring a white and dark shirt. Thanks again for coming from tournament directors Jen, Keenan, and Larry.


If you're bringing a guest that's not playing, we could sure use a few volunteers to sit at Frisbee Central for no more than one hour. If you know someone who could help out, let us know.
Schedule
9:00	Instructional clinic for new players and player sign-up at Buchanan fields. Free Peet's coffee & bagels while it lasts.

10:00	Names will be drawn from hats based on experience level and gender. Teams warm up for games at Buchanan or around the corner at the Middle School.

10:30	Games begin at Buchanan and Middle School.

After final game	Free Beer (1 keg) & Pizza (you get what you pay and sign up for).

Important Guidelines (remember, we want to do this ever year)

Don't park in the adjacent retail parking;

No dogs on the playing fields;

No alcohol at the Middle School;

Help us out as needed since this is by and for the players - and free;

When your game is over, immediately get your entire team to the next field since you may have to drive there;

Parking There should be enough parking. The Rec. Center has overflow parking lots. If the lot at Buchanan is full, park in the corporate lot across the pond. It's in between the Middle School and Buchanan. (See directions below).

Food/Drink We will have Peet's coffee & bagels in the morning while it lasts. We should have enough water to last through the day. We hope to have enough PB & J and munchies. Sign up for pizza during the day & pay for it, and they'll deliver it at the end of the final game. We have 2 kegs of free great quality beer we'll open then.

Directions to Buchanan Fields I-70 west from Golden to Exit 252 - Evergreen Pkwy. Follow Evergreen Pkwy (Hwy 74 Speed Trap!) for about 3 miles. Buchanan fields are on your left at the intersection of Squaw Pass Rd. (Hwy 103) and Evergreen Pkwy. If there are only 20 parking spaces left at the Rec. Center, then use the corporate lots. Turn left out of Buchanan on Evergreen Pkwy, take the next left on Bergen Pkwy. Then take the next left on Castle Court and park in the corporate lots to the right. Walk past the pond to Buchanan fields.

Directions to the Middle School (not the elementary school next to the fire station) Most players will have games at the Middle School which is about 0.5 miles from Buchanan - please hustle! From Buchanan by car, turn left onto Evergreen Pkwy and take the next left on Bergen Pkwy. Take the next right on Hiwan Dr. (The Islands) and turn right after 1/4 mile - the Middle School address is 2059 Hiwan Drive.
